As of June 9, 2022, the level of community spread in Tulsa County is low, according to the CDC. Nonetheless, we have adopted the following precautions in respect of all participants whose health conditions and COVID risk naturally vary.
Masks: Attendees should wear masks during the workshop sessions. Presenters are not required to wear masks while speaking.
Proof of vaccination / testing: No proof of vaccination or COVID-19 testing is required.
Symptoms: If you test positive for COVID-19 or experience symptoms, please immediately discontinue participation in the workshop and follow CDC guidelines for isolation or quarantine.
Outdoor dining and refreshment options: The pre-conference reception, conference dinner, and post-conference reception are all located in venues that have outdoor seating options. Weather permitting, attendees are welcome to utilize these options.
During breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks at the hotel, attendees also have the option of eating and socializing outdoors. There are two outdoor areas near the conference venue, including the Williams Green adjacent to the hotel.
Note that WEIS organizers and the University of Tulsa assume no liability for COVID exposure to workshop participants.
